12:31 Challenge 2024 CRUCIFORMED SPIRITUAL WARFARE – a global conversation and equipping

The 12:31 Challenge is taken from Mark 12:31 – ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself'. The  reality  is  we  cannot  love  someone  we  don’t  know.    To  know  them  requires  an intertwining of our lives.

This year we will be linking up globally with people and leaders around the world for 4 events through 2024, to seek biblical understanding and equipping in spiritual warfare that is given to us in Christ. 

Ephesians 6:10-13 says:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

In Romans 13:14 we are commanded to:

‘Put on Christ’ for He is ‘the armour of light’ (13:12) 

1 John 3:8 ‘The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.’

And as our Risen Lord says in Mark 16:17, one of the signs that accompany the mission of His Church is casting out of demons. This is something that the book of Acts and the early church fathers, and world evangelism attest to as historical reality and an ongoing historical reality in 2024.

There are 2 main dangers that can disable the church in spiritual warfare and the ministry of deliverance.

1. We don’t take ‘the rulers, authorities, the cosmic powers over this present darkness’ with any serious sober realism.
2. We become so fixated that we give the demonic hyper attention and are more excited about supernatural power and spiritual techniques.

Seeking  to  avoid  these  two  errors,  we  have  planned  4  sessions  to  teach  from  the Scriptures and equip the saints in Christ shaped spiritual warfare.

The sessions are on:  Thur 4th April, Thur 2nd May, Sat 8th Jun, Thur 1st Aug

7.30 - 9.30pm AEST;
7 - 9pm SA time;
7pm WA hubs, which is one week later

The cost is $60 for the year or $20 per
session.
